David Hessemer, along with a handful of photographers that I greatly admire, are doing a 24-hour Blogathon for the “Through Their Eyes” Africa project. They will be travelling to some very impoverished parts of Africa next year teaching children how to take photographs, in the hopes of giving them a skill as well enabling people wordwide to see the world the way they see it. The photographs they take will be formed into a traveling exhibit.
