Genny & Sagar have all the qualities that make for perfect clients – They’re madly in love…adventurous…creative…photogenic…adorable together…and a blast to hang out with.

We had a great time on/under/around the Newport Beach pier capturing their engagement photos. I knew immediately we’d have a good session when Genny and Sagar both agreed to the idea of perhaps getting “in” the surf (as long as it was toward the end of the shoot…and of course I’d have to get wet as well to guarantee a good photo or two). Let’s just say, after the sun set we all ended up walking back to our cars with our jeans rolled-up – mission accomplished.

I’m so excited for their wedding next week at the South Coast Winery in Temecula. The venue is beautiful, and Genny and Sagar Sagar have TWO ceremonies all planned-out (Hindu and Traditional). The gathering and joining of their families, combined with the love and happiness of the day, will no doubt provide an abundance of photographic splendor. I’m also thrilled to have the amazing Shyla join me behind the camera/s for the occasion.

I love capturing the intimate, un-posed moments…this is a favorite from my 07-07-07 wedding…just minutes after they’re married and sharing a secret.

“Hey Scott, do you think we could do some less formal, formals?”

Since we had already captured the safer “must-have” images, I was happy to oblige, “Sure…I think we can come up with a few ideas!”
