Florist and Event Design Studio – “Embellishmint”
Posted on 28 April 2008.
Recently I had the opportunity to join a handful of Southern California’s finest photographers for a shoot organized on behalf of the San Diego Pictage User Group. I’ll soon be posting some favorite images from the shoot…but first I want to showcase the work of an awesome florist: Dawn Stone of Embellishmint Floral and Event Design Studio. The bouquet Embellishmint provided was absolutely stunning! The creativity of the arrangement and amazing attention to detail was unlike any bouquet I’ve seen.
I’m definitely recommending Embellishment to current and prospective brides. Below are a few images of the bouquet. Check-out the Embellishmint website and blog.
Gen & Sagar — The Wedding
Posted on 10 September 2007.
This past Friday marked a day I’ll never forget — I’m so grateful to Gen and Sagar for the opportunity to capture and document their joyous union. I feel honored and blessed to have witnessed and been included in the joining of their families and cultures.
Gen and Sagar are the type of couple that are instantaneously likable, and their enthusiasm is contagious. I knew their wedding was going to be remarkable from the moment we met back in April and they briefed me on all the plans – which included Hindu and Western ceremonies. The South Coast Winery and Resort proved to be a gorgeous venue. The views were spectacular – the grounds of the resort offered a plethora of photographic backdrops – and the warm sunset cast an awesome light on the vineyards. It was also great to have my friend Shyla on-hand as a second shooter. We fell into a great rhythm – taking-up complimentary shooting positions and capturing a wide array of decisive moments throughout the day.
I’ve just begun to edit the images, but here are a few that stood out as early favorites. Congratulations Gen and Sagar!
